Summit Engineering has 1 Trumpf TC500 Punching machine. This machine is incorporated in a fully automated production cell. The sheet steel is loaded onto the machine by an automated gantry system, as is the stacking of finished parts. The waist material is also removed automatically and stacked separately. The Trumpf TC500 machine is capable of processing 2500 x 1250 x 8-mm mild steel sheets, has a 15 station fully rotating turret and has a punching speed of 500 hits per minute, allowing quick and precise replication of contours and forms. The machine has both a remote programming facility and also a built in graphical numeric control enabling us to manufacture complicated customer designs.
